The Thought Came to Life
Wondering how thoughts are born — a short poem
At the start, there was nothing Unseen, unheard, unknown Nothing to prove its existence but a fleeting shadow on a key Not ever a computer byte How many bits are needed to encode a single character of text?
From synapse to symbiosis Confusion organized itself Current ran in thin air Connecting nerves to muscles And turned the key
The thought came to life
Afterthought: Have you ever wondered how thoughts are born?
