The Thin Line
A Poem

Here it begins (Ida, Pingala, Sushumna)*
Om
[Muladhara]
Knots open into a lotus bearing translucent red petals A lucid dot sits at its center The journey begins All particles connect
Om
[Svadhishthana]
A thin vermillion line awakens in my spine White flourishes into a river Desire condenses as silver moon Life flow continues
Om
[Manipura]
The universe growls I gather yellow light My eyes start to see I am, I am, I am Nerves catch the beam The thin line rises on its own
Om
[Anahata]
The forest gives and gives plants seeds in stars Love becomes bodhi* tree and emerald hearts align The lotus opens into 12 its stem holding that thin line, carrying life
Om
[Vishuddha]
Song of the aether combine in a fine line of breath. The throat becomes a silent gateway We simply pass through
Om
[Ajna]
I reach a temple completely see-through I see, here the 3 meet to open all gates of our cosmos, I rise without friction The fine thread alone continues
Om
[Sahasrara]
Thousand golden layers must unfold. The oceans and the sky. The sun, moon forests, eyes, streams, meteors, and the unknown must unite Here, the thin line meets — transcends I and you — are no more two separate things
