The Therapeutic Power of Travelling
We are not making it up.

Today, one of the biggest epidemics we suffer from is stress and anxiety. The news says that Spain is the country with the highest consumption of anxiolytics, hypnotics, and sedatives. Other European countries or the United States aren’t far behind. And no, don’t be fooled. Living with stress and anxiety is neither normal nor good for mental health. Not for yours or those around you. A lot has been written about travelling as therapy. Now, it is known that travelling, in addition to being good and highly recommended for our mental health, reduces stress levels and reduces the risk of depression. It improves self-esteem. It increases creativity and our sense of well-being. It renews our energy and inspires us. It opens our minds. Numerous studies by renowned universities confirm the more than positive effect of travelling on human beings. For those who know the subject best, many of these studies conclude that travelling is highly valued by our limbic system (that part of the brain that regulates emotions, among other things) because it allows us to create lasting emotional memories that shape our identity and increase our happiness in a more meaningful way than material purchases. And although we have tried… No. We have not found any place that says that travelling has or can have any contraindications. Travelling is always an excellent remedy. Whether you already suffer from stress or anxiety or if you want to prevent it. More than a whim, it is a necessity to preserve and take care of our mental health. Travelling is ultimately the best investment you can make in yourself. Life is a sigh. Don’t wait. Invest in yourself. Upcoming Safaris: Here With love, Juan & Mavi PS. The great philosopher Seneca said that travelling and changing places revitalises the mind. We say it revitalises the mind, body, and soul, but we are not Seneca. Investing in travel is our great therapy.
