The temptation to clean my tiny garden was strong today as I took my walkabout. Though it was 60 degrees F today, it’s still winter. More cold and snow will come.

Little critters live among the leaves and hollow stems, so it’s good to let things rest. That little angel sat under a five-foot mountain of snow.

She’s sitting on a stone in a patch of dianthus. It’s fun to wonder what the plants will do this year. I’ll stick vegetables anywhere I can. Being planted among herbs and perennials keeps them healthy.

Red bits of the sedum ground cover are peeking through. I use lots of ground covers to keep things pretty and provide airflow in my densely planted garden.

Funny how much pleasure there is in a bunch of flattened dead dried-up stuff, haha.
