The sun and clouds playing to paint sunsets in my balcony

My balcony looks toward the Jura mountains, which stand separating Switzerland from France. Together, the mountains, the clouds anchored by them, and the sun, paint unique pieces every evening. Here is a small selection of some sunsets, shot from my balcony. Vote for your favorite photo in the comments!

Starting with this one, deep in summer when the sun leaves us by the very West:

Compare with this one, in the deep winter (there’s some snow visible indeed) when the sun hides by the South:

After the sun has left us, it still lightens the sky illuminating the clouds from below as in the photos above, or producing a gradient of colors and shades when the sky is clear like in this shot:

Sometimes the clouds are so dense that they just fully occlude the sun even before it has actually set:

No doubt, the effects I like most appear when the setting sun shines on the clouds from below, as in the opening photo and in this one:
