The Stunning Victoria Falls in Zambia, Africa
Words or pictures can never do this place justice!

I won’t even bother with trying to tell you how amazing Victoria Falls is.
Well, okay, maybe just a little bit!
But where do I even start? Victoria Falls is a spectacle. Not a spectacle like the pyramids in Egypt, or the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Not like Machu Picchu in Peru, or even Tikal in Guatemala. It rightfully stands solely in its own spectacle category.
That is because this spectacle is solely the work of Mother Nature.
I know, I know, there are many natural spectacles around the world. But not many offer you a true sensual overload like Victoria Falls does.
I mean, the SIGHT of it is absolutely out of this world! The SOUND of it is almost deafening! The TOUCH of it is really wet! The SMELL of it is the cleanest and freshest you have ever smelled. And the TASTE of it? Well, I will admit that I didn’t exactly taste it, but I did stand under the mist and open my mouth. Does that count?

To fully understand a place like Victoria Falls, you truly do have to go there for yourself!
We visited during the rainy season which means that the falls were incredibly powerful. The crazy roar of the water can be heard from a ways away, and even on the bus ride there, we could see the cloud of mist that was rising from the depth of the canyon below.
Coming at it from the Zambia side was breathtaking and inexpensive (just $20USD), though we were told that it is even more impressive, but more expensive, from the Zimbabwe side. We didn’t realize before we arrived, that it literally sits on the border of these two countries. And while they say (who are they anyway?) that it is more impressive from the Zimbabwe side, I have to wonder how it possibly could be any more so?

I tried to do it justice by making a video about it. It sort of does, but nothing compares to just being there!
So, don’t take my word for it! Just go. It truly will live up to every expectation that you could possibly ever have!
