The Street Cats of Lebanon

March Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Pet People”

What you lookin’ at eh? Eh?

When the streets fill with the howl of the homeless…

You know night has come.

The street kitties of Lebanon are always around.

I found them in the cities, in the mountains, and the places in between.

Where they came from is a great mystery, but they are an ever-present part of the landscape.

You will see bowls outside of homes and shops, with little treats.

A garbage can may jump at you, should you step close and disturb the kitty scavenging inside.

Some find their way into hotels or campgrounds, making friends.

I can only imagine the life of a Lebanese street cat.

Hug your cat a little harder tonight.

A huge thank you to Mary Chang Story Writer for March’s prompt.
