The Story of You
Poetry of love
I had not minded waiting in the clouds, I knew there would be other lightning One real storm of ours.
That sparked across the roof tops, Beyond the narrow streets, Until you were the verses that only melted me.
I seem to know who you are, But I am not the same, That’s why I closed on history Still you know every page.
That deep ocean of darkness, Our rich tones of the Earth, High Summer sun all over and my cold life in reverse.
No I do not mind seeing You were made for silent dreams, This world may not approve but still I will change anything.
Move judgement, every answer Who was right and who was wrong, Then still roll up my ragged sleeves Returning to my loss.
That gentle space in your soul, We both know it is true, All I ever wanted and loved
is the story of you.
