Winter Poetry
The Squirrels are on the move
Like gymnasts, they move
They scamper along the branches of the tree, Evading every ant and every busy bee. In a line they move like well-trained gymnasts. The squirrels are once again on the move, To collect food and their life improve.
The small furry-tailed creatures move fast, Over the roofs, through the bushes, and the grass. They are rushing to collect acorns and nuts for food, For the cold months when they need something good. As they nestle in the comfort of warm leaves and wood.
With clockwork precision and with stealth, They move from tree to tree collecting their wealth. Exercise and food for their good health. The little creatures are working tirelessly, As they move over all terrains effortlessly.
They are squirreling autumn away, Keeping themselves busy every day. The cold months of winter have finally come, The squirrels have found the comfort they need, In a warm and isolated corner of your home.
