is a place to learn from others and share your insights, awareness, observations, ideas, humour, and wisdom through engaging stories.

We have three goals —

  1. Host stories that entertain, enlighten, or empower.
  2. Support all our writers and help them pass the Sinatra test — if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
  3. Put the reader first by delivering diverse well-written articles to suit all interests.

New writers

We are not a reading club, but I ask all writers to follow and subscribe to . That way you can support other writers here by reading the articles that interest you. I find this is always reciprocated.

Submissions

  1. We accept all topics.
  2. Submissions must comply with Medium’s Rules, Plagiarism Guidelines, Duplicate Content Policy, Ad-Free Policy, and Distribution Standards.
  3. We do not accept plagiarism or stories written wholly or partly by A.I.
  4. All submissions must be in draft format only.
  5. Please pay attention to spelling and grammar, these are important for an enjoyable reader experience.
  6. Adhere to the Medium curation guidelines. This includes linking sources, correctly crediting photographs, and correctly using titles and subtitles.
  7. Please respect all editor decisions, our feedback is designed to help you.
  8. Articles are normally scheduled for publication within 48 hours. We do not publish in bulk. They will be placed in a timeline so that your article sits at the top of the publication for a reasonable time. Currently, we publish no more than four articles per day.
  9. We ask that you use the proper format for your Title and Subtitle.
  10. All images, videos, quotes, and gifs must be credited.
  11. Style choices for your article will be subject to the editor’s discretion.
  12. You are not obliged to use as one of your tags, but it would be nice.
