The Splendour of Dancing Photons
The romance in the air

Nature is not only benevolent in offering us the treasure she owns but also amalgamates several splendours — author
Sun had already set, a smear of twilight could be seen on the horizon. It was nearly 4.30 pm and I decided to leave the office. Wearing a thick winter jacket, and looking at the horizon, a naïve sensation touched my mind; why does the sun set so early in this part of the hemisphere?
Although I have spent several winters in this area, it was for the first time, such a question came to me.
My inner humour uttered in a non-analytical fashion,
Like you, Sun also feels cold, and he wants to go home early….
Wow, I grinned at my child-like intuition.
I looked through the window, a few people strolling on the banks of the river.
I came out of the building. The temperature was 4ºC but the wind was mild which encouraged me to walk by the Danube which has been my most beautiful and favourite time.
The Danube enacts a busy life on its both banks; elegantly walking couples holding the hands, young pairs in their jubilant blast, children running, restaurants and bars in their professional noise is the regular scene.
Due to pandemics, this charm has waned. Nevertheless, young groups were enjoying, sipping the cold beer with a burst of laughter.
I walked looking at them…, that was once my beautiful youth…..
The gentle breeze didn’t affect me but ceremoniously created tiny waves moving on the flowing Danube.
The fluorescent lights glowing all around in multi colours traversed far and near. Some caught in the tiny waves danced rhythmically like Viennese Waltz, so beautiful, so elegant, so charming….
The splendour of the dancing photons on the River Danube was spectacular.
The Danube was flowing quietly, shallow waves were moving silently, and photons dancing continued spreading the splendour…
In this cosmic romance, I stood static….
My camera clicked the amorousness of the ambience.

PS: I heard, “Tyler Rake: Extraction” starring Chris Hemsworth has been the most-watched feature film on Netflix with 99 million views.
Now, part two is being shot for 2 weeks in Feb. 2022 on the Danube river in Vienna near the bridge in my above photo.
