The Space Between Us!

I have been fascinated by Space since I was born. It throws me into a thought spiral, getting out of which is impossible.

With our stars lookin’ down upon us,

I’m biased to the one who doesn’t know that I exist unlike my sun,

The moon flaunting his stolen glory to me like a child who’s just stubborn,

Pulling the tears out of me because he can’t cry,

And the real sun shining bright with pride like he owns the universe only waiting to die old,

These tiny asteroids thinking they make a difference which they do if they believe it,

And the fission and fusion inside the stars giving them a purpose,

and making me feel hot and stirring a fire inside me because of my insignificance,

The Planets with their sycophantic moons seeking approval from the sun only to find Pluto rebelling,

All celestial bodies are…

Rotating and revolving just like my head making me no different than them.

Milky Way and the Andromeda are fighting not realizing that they’ll be soon getting closer than they need to be!

I’m looking up at the sky thinkin’ without blinkin’ and sinkin’ in this thought the feelin’ is tickling!!

But all of us are nothing more than a drop in the sea full of mystical energy that we mistake for synergy!

I hope to see what secrets everyone is hiding behind their overbearing smiles that can't seem to lessen its radius, cause fake it till you make it.

The darkness in this world makes me wonder if the black hole would be any less darker,

Both haul at everything in their proximity,

But sadly I will never know cause I need the light to see.

Unless aliens come wormholing,

Overpowering me in this labyrinth of Time…!
