The Snowy Egret’s Lunch

While on vacation in Kauai, I was experimenting with my new lens and I happened across this “live-action” scene of a Snowy Egret prowling through the croton and Bougainvillea in search of lunch. I felt the angst of the poor lizard, which she caught and devoured, but I was also enraptured with the beauty of the cycle of life played out right in front of my eyes.
