The Snow Plow Drivers are Out of Practice

All photos by Author

My Cuppa story on Friday mentioned that there’d been no snow in Montréal in over a month. The weather Gods must’ve been reading; the flakes started late Saturday and about 10cm — 4 inches — has fallen.

All night I was pestered with the sound of metal hitting concrete as the plows cleared the commercial space opposite my apartment. GRRR!

But one plow driver was out of practice. I woke up to find this scene in the parking lot. He had misjudged where the curb was. Oops.

Thankfully, the driver didn’t appear to be hurt; he was probably more embarrassed.

Later, my zoom lens was able to capture the workers pulling the little plow back upright (lead photo).

It's now awaiting transportation to the snowplow hospital…
