Weight loss is not easy, not at all. It takes a lot of discipline, self control, will power and constant motivation to get yourself into that desired shape. If you are here for a shortcut, then I am really really sorry to disappoint you.
The first step to weight lose is acceptance.
I am not even joking, it’s important to understand that there are no shortcuts and accept the fact that the path is not going to be easy. The struggle is real but what’s more difficult than that is finding the right and precise method of losing some pounds. Actually on the internet you will find hundreds of methods. There are plenty of fitness influencers who will tell you to do this and do that — and finally offer a transformation program that claims weight lose in a very attractive period of time.
I have tried a lot of them and some of them work too but most of them are unhealthy. I don’t have a program to offer to you guys. Also, I can’t guarantee you miraculous results. Honestly, all I can deliver to you is what has worked out well for me and it is cent percent true. I am pretty sure if you try this you will not be disappointed at all and believe me it’s not that hard either.

Intermittent Fasting
Intermittent fasting is not a diet plan but a lifestyle change and it’s a very easy change at that. Fasting has many benefits and weight loss is one of the crucial amongst them. Please understand that intermittent fasting lifestyle is not a diet but a very small lifestyle change which is difficult for the first two days and then it becomes extremely easy once you stick to it.
How Do You Go About I.F ?
I.F basically happens when you starve your body for a minimum of 12 hours — which you can stretch to about 16 hours as well. Trust me it’s not as hard as it sounds. All you have to do is skip your breakfast. If you are a very big breakfast fan then you must have your dinner super early to complete that 12 hours span.
Your body’s hormonal profile changes through the process of fasting. When you fast your body, there’s a change of 3 hormonal groups primarily.
- Human growth hormone
- Insulin
- Adrenaline or Non-adrenaline
With the changes in these hormonal groups we can achieve the goal we are aiming for.
How To Do It ?
Keep in mind that during your fast the only thing you should be having ideally is water — and if you are feeling too hungry on the first one or two days then sometime during your fast you can have a spoon of virgin coconut oil. Once your feeding period starts, your first meal should be something extremely light such as fruits or vegetables. Something that is easy on your digestive system.
Half an hour after that, you can go for a solid meal that contains protein as it’s center piece along with complex carbs such as brown rice, whole wheat or any kind of millet along with a serving of vegetables.
Take a break for a couple of hours and for snack time you can have a serving of nuts or eggs or some more fruits or veggies. For dinner, you can repeat exactly what you had for lunch or something different which contains the same components. If weight loss is your major concern in life, I recommend cutting off that carbohydrates portion and focus more on proteins and your vegetables. You will have even greater results if you combine I.F with some kind of High Intensity Interval Training exercises and it is personally what I did during the quarantine to shed off those extra pounds in my body.
Life is extremely simple once you get into the groove with doing the I.F diet.
It’s also about accepting the fact that I don’t really need breakfast in my life. You get too choose your own timings. I do I.F during 9PM to 10PM and my feeding period is from 11PM to 9PM.
Final Note
You have to understand that the “Concept of Breakfast is Super Healthy for You” is a conspiracy created by the sugar lobby and cereal companies. When it comes to breakfast, most people don’t even feel that natural pang of hunger in the morning — but hey if you’re used to you’re used to it. Just ensure you starve your body for a minimum of 12 hours.
