Sometimes, we get carried away by our problems and the negativity in the world, and we truly forget to be grateful for the few things that matter in life.

1. Family and Friends
Having a loving family and a small circle of friends you can always turn to is something most of us take for granted. We think it’s a given and that we didn’t really put in much work to get there.
Family and friends are super important, and you should spend more time with them today to show your appreciation and commitment.
2. Good Health
As they say, health is wealth, and you don’t feel it until you lose it. Most people who complain about life will almost always forget about all their money, job, and relationship problems if they have health issues.
If you can wake up, sleep, eat, and walk without any medical help or supervision, you’re already blessed, and you should enjoy the gift of life. Don’t wait until you lose it before you realize.
3. Passion/Purpose
Having a lifelong passion or purpose is one of the best ways to live a fulfilled life. Your passion could be writing, painting, music, or mentoring people.
Once you find your passion in life, stick to it and enjoy the process because the fulfillment you receive from it is immeasurable.
4. Gratitude
Gratitude is a must for a reason. I have never met a grateful person that’s unhappy. They always seem to radiate with joy.
Being thankful for what you have and genuinely showing appreciation is a sure way to receive more, be happy, and live a life of contentment. It also takes away the dreaded FOMO (fear of missing out).
5. Freedom
Freedom is one of those things we take for granted because we’ve always had it. Most of us are free to make our own decisions and do whatever we like whenever we want.
This is something that people are literally dying to experience. Today, just step out into nature and enjoy the ambience and calmness. Touch the grass, put your feet on the sand. Breathe in the fresh air and be happy that you have these little things that most people wish they had.
