The Silent Love
microfiction
His blue eyes meet hers, brown. In a dome, his look harbors a flame; hers, sweetness.
One gaze sees belonging, the other it’s a mirror.
The blue abyss shelters a vulcanic voice; the brown magnet, affection.
His eyes kiss; her voice hugs them.
Faithful looks, anchored voices.
The gazes love. The muted voices smile.
They’re home.
