Like most people (everyone?)I have experienced many deep losses in my life. The loss of pets, people, relationships, dreams, and, occasionally faith in the possibilities of life. In my experience, these moments need to be honoured rather than dismissed and in the sacred space of witnessing, feelings move and life is recharged.

Although I have written some long poems, typically I try and capture experience through few words. I find that this creates a directness but also allows room for the reader to fill their own lives into the lines and complete the poems in a personal way.
