Same was for nuclear fusion, we decided as a species to both use it as an enormous clean energy source (nuclear power plants) which brought us much energy, but we also decided to build atom bombs.

So what are we going to create together? Are we going to go down the route of using technology only for destruction and control? Or are we going to use it responsibly, for the betterment of humanity, the planet and life as a whole? I believe there is great potential for us to choose the latter.
