The Self-Help Industry Is Melting.
100x Your Returns if You Take My Course + Marketing Bullshit I Know You’re Sick and Tired Of

If you want to be an entrepreneur or make money on the internet, but you’ve never done so before, I’m convinced that content creation is a good start.
Learning to fluidly write a 1000 word blog post or learning to film and edit videos will be beneficial in either starting your first business.
Now it’s not necessarily essential for you to learn to create your own organic content.
But it’s highly recommended.
This time last year, I did not engage in any creative work at all.
I had published exactly 0 articles on Medium, and I had not yet started my YouTube channel or established my business, Beach Authority LLC.
I'm not exactly counting any content that I posted on social media between the ages of 13–23.
And that’s because anything I published online during those years was probably not worth anything to anyone.
It’s not that I posted garbage on the internet up until that point.
But I don’t think I was very intentional with the 13,473 Twitter updates I had in high school. And I’m very confident that I did not inspire any real change in any one person’s life — let alone the world.
I actually saw it as toxic and ended up deleting the app.
Or maybe I lacked self-control at the time.
Either way — I’m glad that whatever awakening that took place did.
These days I can see the clear differences between purposefully made content and some high-ticket guru on YouTube dragging me into their sales funnel by promising eternal wealth and happiness.
The first group of people is willing to work to discover what they can truly offer to the world in helping other people.
The second group intentionally manipulates and deceives an audience for their own materialistic gain.
Don’t be a part of the second group.
Add Value. Don’t Take Advantage of People.
I’m absolutely shocked at some of the stuff I see these days.
Self-expression comes in many different forms, which is cool.
But there's a difference between using your creativity and knowledge to add genuine value to your customer's life and deceitfully selling a $500 “How To 10X Your Money Trading Cryptocurrencies” course — when you know that the contents won’t deliver the advertised results.
Does anyone else know what I’m talking about?
Or is it just me being targeted for this sort of crap?

I’m not insinuating that because you sell information digitally or because you have a course; or even run ads — that you’re immoral or operating an illegitimate business.
I’ve paid for a lot of content at an extremely reasonable rate where the learning was engaging, useful — and applicable.
But I’ve also over-paid for courses or programs like the one above that were extremely over-marketed and didn’t provide nearly the value promised or results advertised.
Tragically, people will deliberately and aggressively market the hopes and dreams of others in order to profit for themselves.
Willingly taking a customer's last $1000 if given the opportunity.
The self-help industry is melting.
And as a 26-year-old father with a 4-year, I can confidently say that there's a different type of internet knowledge that we should be advocating for future generations.
A New Baseline
We often praise the globally interconnected world in which we live, for good reasons.
Advancements in technology have revolutionized the way we operate as a world in many positive ways.
While the government has done a lovely job implementing internet access within the education system.
However, I’d argue that because of the ways the laws are written in America, and because of the lack of legislation currently outlining our digital code of conduct online — we need an updated curriculum that highlights the dangers of using the internet as a whole.
Children as young as 8 or 10 should be aware of the fact that there are people that would intentionally deceive them online.
“Don’t believe everything you see or hear” isn’t quite cutting it anymore.
Cyber Awareness Needs To Be Leveled up
We can’t brag about how great having the internet is without discussing how it could quite easily ruin your life if not cautiously approached.
What good is broadening the amount of information we’re able to access at our fingertips if the people accessing it aren’t fully educated on its potentials?
But anyways.
What do I know…
I’m just a small guy out of many trying to change the world, one little blog post, and YouTube video at a time.
Who knows. Anything could happen.
In the meantime, thanks for reading.
There will be more tomorrow.
And tomorrow — will be a great day.
See you soon.
