The Seesaw Approach

Five Haiku poems about helping others

Sometimes we forget that others are in the same boat

Much like the seesaw. The experience assured, the same on both sides. Sometimes we need help to get things moving correctly Much like the seesaw. Equal effort expected from both sides to move. Sometimes people promise us the heavens just to leave us in the dirt

Much like the seesaw. Sometimes people force us down. We will rise again.

Sometimes people push us away with instant regret Much like the seesaw. Some lose their balance and fall, clutching their regret. Sometimes we need to step down to let someone else rise Much like the seesaw. A favour for a favour. Release the dispense.

It is a favour for a favour — give & take world. Still, somebody has to be the first link in the chain of helping hands. Remember, only the seesaw has two ends.
