The Secret of Success

Write from the heart but do it like a machine.

Write every day they tell you quite gladly.

Otherwise, you don’t want this!

Well, at least not that badly.

Take it from me! I know! Now…I’m rich!

Creatively that is. The money doesn’t matter.

It’s not that I need money, but it’s sure nice to have.

Love what you do! You’re a writer! Be creative!

Write every day!

It’s for the algorithm.

I mean it. The millions don’t matter. Well not to me.

Can I help if I make $10,000 per hour? I just rake it in.

I’ve got cash in the corners of every room in the house! It’s hardly a sin.

Because I write every day!

And I never once faked it.

I love what I do and so then should you.

Every minute. Every hour.

Just open that heart and write like a machine.

I tell you Mark Twain knows just what I mean.

Ray Bradbury said it and Stephen King too!

Write EVERY DAY!

And do the laundry.

And make a podcast and a pot roast.

And walk the dog.

Wait just a second, I have to complete a deposit for 10 million dollars. I thought I had lost it (while in the laundry room looking for the maid.)

I don’t need the money. I just rake it in.

Write every day.

I’m telling you honey.

It’s for the algorithm

and your own damn good.
