The Scariness of Anthony Perkins is Depressive

This may have been two thematically linked dreams, the dream was scrolling through a display that started off with Janet Leigh from Psycho, this part was narrated and went into some problems regarding the movie and how it hampered the critical reception of her later movies (which I believe from cursory searches is bullshit, don’t trust your dream narrator) and it showed a couple of posters for movies one of which looked like it was a stylized drawing of the scene from Roman Holiday where Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck are on a scooter
But you know, in the style of a 1950s movie poster with a red block with text in it behind them giving the name of the movie, which I don’t think was Roman Holiday in this case, and at any rate of course the place of Audrey Hepburn in the graphic was taken by Janet Leigh.

So whatever movie this was a representation of the narrator presented it as evidence of her career tanking after Psycho. I believe from contextual clues and a dim feeling of oh yeah that movie, that it was a romantic comedy with hijinks.
Then, later in the dream I and some other people, including Janet Leigh, were trying to escape some bad situation, by getting into an overloaded small car that was packed, for a long vacation it seemed, with lots of bags. I am very fuzzy on these details but the car was in a sort of white staging area, off to the side was a small corral of other people (maybe we were in there also, I am not really sure where we were, but we wanted to get in that car), the white area where the car was, was patrolled by Dobermans. In the corral, among the other people, was Audrey Tautou, and she had a remote that controlled the car.

Audrey Tautou used the remote to open the car doors for us at an advantageous time and we ran and got into the car without the Dobermans getting us, but it was close. The Dobermans were now all on one side of the car barking at us. Then she opened the door on the other side and snuck over to it and got in, the Dobermans became aware as she got in and rushed over, one got its head partly in the door before could close it and was snapping at Audrey but as I was in the back seat on her side I managed to hit it on the snout and we closed the door.
Safe at last! Oops, not so fast, there was a small ramp, stairwell, leading into the white staging area where the car was from somewhere else (up) from where now descended Antony Perkins, dressed as his mother role in Psycho.

Evidently he owned those Dobermans, he then walked around the car menacingly, and poked his face close to the windows and tapped on them with his cane which had a metal dog’s head.
I remember when he put his face close it was not so much his face as an artistic rendition, dark with lots of cross-hatching. Also aesthetically he reminded me of the grandmother monster in the scene from the Series From https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WTED3iU_zU

Was it scary? Sort of, but really I remember a feeling of depressive annoyance that all monsters were such similar and unimaginative characters. I felt like the best response to this monster was to give them the finger and maybe moon them, this is not really the response you have towards something frightening.
At any rate not even sure if this was not two different dreams, as I don’t know how I got from the simple scrolling through narrative of Janet Leigh’s career to this scene, the only reason I put them as the same dream is I do not remember waking in between them and the strong thematic connections with Janet Leigh, Psycho, and even I guess even the name Audrey since that movie I remembered really closely resembled Roman Holiday in the poster.
