The sinuous stretch of blacktop connecting the coastal towns of Tossa De Mar to San Feliu De Guixols must undoubtedly rank among the best coastal drives in the world.

Among all the things I miss from my years as a Barcelona resident, the weekend jaunts to the achingly beautiful Costa Brava rank very high indeed. Tossa De Mar and the nearby “calas”: the small, secluded beaches between it and San Feliu De Guixols are possibly my favorite places on Earth, and the stretch of road connecting these places is no less beautiful.

Let’s get things straight…
