The Rescue for a World That Is Falling To pieces

Telling my story…

It is hard to watch the news on television one of these days.

I turned it off, but even that didn’t help. My social media pages are flooding with the same news. I can’t be any specific but the story they all echo is the same.

The world is breaking in bits, into pieces. And the sight isn’t pretty. It is like watching a glass shatter with a little hope that it will get back to how it was. It seems that everyone is paying the price of everybody else’s generations of wrong-doings.

I look at it as huge karma, only that this one doesn’t care whether you deserve it or not. We all get an equal share of everything.

What is going on?

I mean people are being killed on the streets for as trivial as selling single cigarettes from packs without tax stamps. A pandemic that broke the world forcing everyone to stay home, slashing the economies of even the most developed countries in the world.

All hell broke loose. But what will an average person like you and me do to help make things a little better?

Admit when you are wrong and work on it

The first step to making things better is admitting that they are wrong.

No, not in that way. I mean admitting the presence of both the factors and the people involved in making them the way they are in the first place.

I admit that I throw my empty canned drinks just about anywhere and that might be one of the reasons the water system is my locality is clogged.

There I said it!

If nobody wants to admit what they are doing wrong, from the smallest to the biggest, then there is no point in trying to change for the better.

Figure out what we are doing that is leaving a negative mark on the planet — socially, morally, and environmentally, is the first step to making it better.

Chances are there is a thing or two. You don’t have to admit that to anybody but yourself. Have it on your conscience and work on getting better.

Inspire through actions

By mere doing what we love doing, passionately. We’re radiating energy for others to do the same.

I recently read a piece on how Will Smith inspired someone to write better. Will Smith is not a writer, or at least we don’t know him as one. But by doing what he did, he instills confidence in the heart of others to do better in their fields too.

I don’t have to be Will Smith to do that. I might not have a bigger fan base as Will Smith but can inspire others with my pen! You can too, you should!

Paint, write a poem, produce a beautiful song — create an art. Share it with the world!

Have faith in people

Everyone is having a different storyline than yours.

You have to understand that not everybody will understand a concept from your point of view. And therefore might have a more feasible solution than yours, only if give them a chance.

Having faith in people is also for you. It is your dose to keep your end of the bargain. It is doing what is good even if nobody is doing that, and abstaining from evil even if everybody is doing it; hoping that people will do the right thing, someday.

We need more faith in people, now more than ever.

Speak up!

Now is not the time to be silent. Keep mute only when your silence is better than your words.

Speak up against racial injustice! You have the platforms, you have the voice and a word from you can do a lot.

#BlackLivesMatter is a powerful movement to end racism and it wouldn’t have been possible if everybody kept mute after George Floyd’s death.

You can make a difference in so many things by speaking up because the people that do, are just like you and me.
