The Request

A Spiritual Poem

Canva-Photo by spirit

The one request I made of God He did not give me. He broke my heart. And like an angry child, I ran away. The years passed and I heard His voice calling me from a distance. But I did not listen. Choosing instead to remain silent. To forget the love we once had. To reject the hand of God. To ignore the gift I have been given.
