The Real Lord Of The Flies

My wonderful father long before I existed — in a band called ‘The Name’ – Jacket backwards like a straight jacket.

The world is a garbage dump and we are all just flies. Music makes it worth surviving.

Music makes it smell sweeter.

– Steve Dillon

I don’t know about you but, I find it very hard to imagine life without music.

These words to live by were from my Dad. The Musician, the Music Lecturer, and overall insanely compassionate wonderful human. He lived so fully with love and music at the ready.

Though I am lucky enough to have his songs, his soothing voice to listen to on repeat. I miss him every day. After almost a decade I still ache for my best friend.

Life without him is hella hard.

I’m proud to be My Daddy’s Girl.
