The Rabbit Hole
How far down goes the rabbit hole?

Have you ever dreamed Of what it would be like To have never experienced your plight? Is reality not what it seems? In an alternate reality, Would I be living in Detroit City? Would I have experienced more or less misery? What a pity! That we will never know How far down goes the rabbit hole. How far does it go? Instead of being fast would I be slow?
Stars and moons collide - Planets died - Only seconds ago, This is the ebb and the flow. The give and the take - What the universe creates - From oxygen and water - We will find life and its holy water. The darkness of the ether - Your soul is measured by a feather. Through the stormy weather Would life be worse or better?
In a different reality in space and time Perhaps this would be a different rhyme. The planets in the Milky Way - Dark matter’s sway - In our reality, There is more than one galaxy, More than one universe - They call it the multiverse. Would I be vengeful? Would be wrathful? Would I be angry? Or is it to be That there is only one true reality Or perhaps hundreds of alternate realities. Parallel universes Where I write down different verses. Would I be better or worse? A different dimension - Astrophysics reveals this vision. If the theories are true Would the world be red instead of blue?
I do not truly know What the brightest of us know. Although, I believe know no one truly knows - How far down goes the rabbit hole.
If velociraptors exist on Earth, In a different dimension of a universe, Perhaps we are not the first Intelligent life in the multiverse. On a blood-red planet, a dragon gives birth. If a dragon were to rule And is more intelligent than human life - A different mentality than the human strife, Perhaps we are the fools To believe in wormholes. To believe we know The fate of our soul. Tho’ like I said, Many lies have we been fed. Only when we understand - How little we know as a woman or a man - The more humble we become. Our temple and our kingdom. For what’s done is done, I am a dreamer Of a past and of a future That is brighter. I believe science will take us farther Than we can ever imagine. We shall never give in.
In the reality Of an alternate reality, We believe what could be - What should be - We are, what we are - As astrophysics has taken us far And someday, Some way, I hope it will take us to the stars.
