November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Collecting Smiles”

Remember to read between the lines.

I like to walk through the local high school parking lot when I’m in the neighborhood. Each school year, some members of the senior class paint original murals in their assigned parking spaces.

Some of them have sports or comic book themes and feature a character or mascot. Some incorporate a motif, such as music or nature, while others choose a favorite motto.

I love to see how they express their personalities through these original and creative designs. Some of them make me laugh; they all bring a smile to my face each time I see them. I’m also glad that I’ve never seen any of these works vandalized or defaced.

I chose the image above because it’s simple but colorful and reminds me to be positive.
