What’s up with the ‘Us’ versus ‘Them’ mentality?

Let’s address this before we forget about humanity

Quick question: Where were you born?

I was born on planet Earth. Where all Terrans are born. This planet is where human beings live. Humans have differences, but they do not include being born on another planet. That makes all Earthlings family, neighbors, and in a truly healthy world, loving toward one another.

Well then, who are THEY?

THEY are a trending term to use when trying to rally a group to believe in something other than LOVE. Love is inclusive. It doesn’t pin folks against one another. I have started to notice a lot of this use of US vs. THEY. It’s an indication of error. An Earthling acting out of fear/error will try to fire you up to believe you are separate from other Earthlings depending on a number of variables in your life. THEY can vary from being born somewhere in particular, to the color of one’s skin, to political leanings. And at the end of the day, everyone’s still from Earth. Therefore, projection and comparing ideologies and attempting to pin one group against another is wrong.

So THEY are really US?

Yes, even if you have a problem with the way a Terran thinks, or acts, or speaks, or believes in things, you are in fact family. Indelibly connected. So by accusing people as separate from you is a way of saying you are separate from everything when you’re not. This is an error in logic. You can’t interact with a world without first being willing to admit you participate. We were all born here. That was our introduction, to know we all gestate the same way, born from the womb, (so long as we’re born here) we are all family.

We’re all linked.

We come from the same planet. That’s been established. But that’s not all. There are theories as to how old the universe is, and there’s an argument that there was a burst of light, and then the universe started rapidly expanding 13.8 billion years ago. All of us contain this same power that formed our planet. It’s also the power that formed us. We experience our power put to use when we are growing in the womb. Yet we forget how powerful we once were. And it’s because life throws wrenches in the way. Gets you to start pointing fingers, am I right?

Of course, I am.

Remember, you get what you give.

If you want life to be fulfilling and truly peaceful, go back to all the moments in time that you can recall feeling bad, and offer everyone in the situations that have already passed LOVE. Return to this as the thoughts of hard times entice you to invest in them. Offer LOVE and the Universe will get the hint that you’re into the good stuff now, and change will start happening in your life. You will also see these reemerging pains as opportunities to grow until they subside, and no longer serve as part of your life.

Stay positive. Love yourself and others, and remember to focus on that which makes you happy. It will work better than focusing on the negative, including finger-pointing, and gossiping. It may feel good at the moment, but it has horrible consequences later on. You get what you give. Offer love, and let it go. This begets freedom.
