The Power of Sports

Transforming your mindset can go a long way.

Our world is obsessed with sports.

Don’t get me wrong, I watch and love sports.

But that is something I’ve always wondered about.

I guess it’s because every sport used to be a random game that someone thought of, and it turned into millions of people watching, loving, and playing it.

Did you watch the World Cup?

Of course, I did.

Long ago, someone picked up a soccer ball, placed a peach basket, and started playing basketball.

Just how someone altered the rules of rugby to create modern American football.

Or maybe how a group of little children started to randomly play cricket in the Weald, which is a wooded district.

There’s a theme going on here, isn’t there?

All of these games that we know and love today originated from someone who was just messing around.

Many people often make their goals insincere.

These people from the past picked up a ball and started playing something that they thought nothing of, and it turned into generations of worldwide entertainment.

My message to you is to make every action genuine.

Don’t always think about how you can make a profit out of something.

Think about how you could genuinely improve.

How can I make money on Medium?

No.

How can I improve my writing?

Transforming your mindset in this way can go a long way in terms of goal setting and goal-improving.

Sports originated from one person and brought together millions of people together.

Your goals are never too big, they can only be too small.

A simple change in your mindset can go a long way.
