🎁 The Power of Poetry has its first birthday today

I feel like writing this my life could be a little bit brighter. My mind is a bit more clear. I want you to know about the little moments of happiness, hope, and joy that make up my days: The memorable memories that I’m so grateful for: A time when you changed my perspective on the world.

I have learned to walk. I have learned to talk. These are the things I’ve done and know, And could not do or know before. I’ve learned how to feel. I have learned — to cry. I have learned to laugh. This is what I know. This is all that I can tell, And what I will never show. You’ve heard it said that babies are born knowing how to speak their first language, and I am just a poet, but my language cannot be called more than dreams.
