The ideas on How and What.

You should be finding ways to get this power.

In part 2 of, The Power of Passive Income, we are going to outline the ‘How’ and give a brief guideline to the ‘What’.

As previously mentioned, passive income allows you to generate a revenue stream without having to work nonstop. You can earn money in your sleep.

The ability to earn an income while not killing yourself working is the dream. But it’s not just about the freedom from work but the time that you can gain and the potential that goes along with it. The greater the amount of you gain of either, the greater the possibility for you to create more passive income.

Think of it as a loop once you get in you can keep creating more.

The real problem is how.

Here we have a difficult beginning. The start is always the hardest. The basic concept is rather simple though, find something that you only have to make once, (easier said than done. Right?). But once it’s done, it can be used over and over again.

However, creating something is not the only way of breaking into the passive income loop. Invest in something or another, can also make you a passive income. You earn an income by just putting money in, it can work just as well if not better.

The problem arises when we actually have to do the creating or investing or both. It boils down to the same issue — the ‘what’.

What do I create?

What do I invest in? (This question is going to be expanded in detail, in part 3)

What money do I use, to start either?

Let’s tackle each question one at a time. In this part, we will look at a few ideas for creating a product or service that can create a passive income stream.

Beginning with… what do I create?

Here we are going to just give a brief outline of a few Ideas.

Create graphic design to sell. Such as:

  • Create digital art or clip art
  • Create your own original fonts
  • Create 3D models and renderings

Create content from your social media outlet, creating income via Ads.

YouTube is a great platform for this, but other social media platforms can work just as well.

Ideas could include:

  • Educational tutorials
  • Entertaining videos, songs, pictures, or podcasts.

Affiliate Marketing, signing up for promoting schemes taking the form of:

  • Physical or virtual products and then referring them.

Creating software or Apps

  • Like Business Doc Templates or worksheets
  • Creating whole programs or apps that solve particular problems or creating new services or opportunities

Writing

  • Articles for different publications or blogs. (Medium is a good place to start).
  • Write a book and publish it either digitally or physically or both.

Renting

  • Rent a spare room out or part of your land.
  • Join a rental program.
  • Online Services
  • Reselling Web Hosting

Here are just a few ideas of what you can create and then subsequently generate a passive income from.

Stay tuned for part 3 ‘what to invest in’. I hope you found this article useful. Thank you for taking the time to read it, if you have any questions, please leave a comment.
