Word Of The Day: Mourn

Most people read the word mourn and they immediately think of grief and loss.

When seekers see the word mourn they sometimes think of the loss of karmic weight.

Many folks also think of losing someone or something you love.

However, when I see the word mourn, I picture cherishing the good things I have lost and then releasing them.

Here’s what I think about the word mourn when it comes to connecting with the Ancestors, especially if you really want the experience of discovering the Ancestors in your dreams:

  • Grief and mourning are unavoidable parts of life
  • It is crucial to be able to name and mourn our loss to enable healing
  • Although mourning is a very personal experience you do not have to mourn alone
  • The karmic weight of grief and mourning is carried through time until it is addressed and healing begins

The big benefit is naming your loss and acknowledging your grief. Then a healing process can begin. Otherwise, you will find yourself frozen in time. Trauma can paralyze you emotionally and energetically. Break the chains.

Let me share how we all can put all this into action. Connect with helpful ancestors in dreams. Set an intention to contact them before falling asleep. Listen. Mourning can go on for centuries if the pain isn’t honored. Start the healing process.
