With a 100% chance you have heard a mantra of this sort before:
Always listen to your intuition. It knows things that the conscious mind doesn’t even register.
But with the same amount of percentual probability you might have heard the ‘advice’ from someone with a very logical, linearly oriented perception of reality (C follows B, B follows A…) that “Listening to your gut is ridiculous — facts and science are the only tools we must rely on! Your gut instinct is not sophisticated enough to decide what is right and wrong!” or something along those lines…
Does it need to be said who is in the wrong here?
Intuition obviously is always in the right.
Why?
Because your intuition is deeply connected to your essence.
What is your essence?
In a few words, I would say it is your true self, the highest aspect of your existence. In one word: your soul.
But put into a more analytical, materially-oriented context: Intuition is not simply an empty phrase or metaphysical ‘woo-woo’-concept without any tangible, real-world application.
In fact, it is so tangible, that it can be registered by your inner eye, traveling upwards into your field of consciousness; and it can be sensed as the hint of an emotion, an ‘ick’ that something is not in its place — or that something is actually perfectly fine.
It can even be felt in your body, subtly, strongly and everything in between. It can be felt in the nudge that becomes a push or a pull that you can locate in your stomach-area, your heart-space or even in your entire physical form. Yes — it can be the case that every fiber of your being — every cell of your body — is vibrating with a certain frequency, telling you that the decision to make is a clear ‘YES’ or an equally clear ‘NO’.
Humanity as one single organism: The impact of collective intuitive insight
If all of humanity would listen more to their gut-feeling and if the whole planet started to tune more into a frequency of love and wholeness — trying to inspire their own being as well as everyone else — then (I’m convinced) the world would shift rather quickly into a state of harmonious, idyllic, almost paradisical perfection.
Now, this may sound very naïve, childish, illusory, unworldly or even flat-out stupid to a lot of ears — but consider it from a more matter-based, logical perspective:
What are the odds to reach that state of the world when the children of Gaia continue to act and interact in a way that is purely selfish and based on shallowness, fakeness and status (=how one is seen and perceived from the outside)…?
We might want to consider the alternative — which foundationally resides in the fields of love and intuition.
From there onwards, we can start to harness the creativity and skillsets needed to actually build and implement the necessary elements for a better world.
But if the pillars of love and intuition (one could say the connection to humanity’s essence) are not stable or are simply non-existent — then how are we able to build anything on top?
A paradigm like this obviously challenges the set, used and societally embedded, superfluously awry, Epimethean way of thinking.
What the world needs is the unisono-all-inspirational, flux-embracing and unifyingly wholesome power of radical optimism, empathy, creativity and an unbreakable connection to intuition with the possibilities for individualistic endeavors sprinkled on top: This is the cake the New Earth needs to bake.
Moving ahead as individuals that are separate and act in a way that creates even more separation is not the way to go. Politics, beliefs that promulgate the conviction of a higher force other than the essence of all that is (Love), systems that try to keep the ‘little man’ as little as possible, as well as the disguise of the true self behind facades and facades of shallow identifications with things and presentations that are nothing but temporary clothes we all wear while we are here on this beautifully blue, but beat-up planet… only create more obstacles than assistance in the long run and delay the desired state of wholeness, unification and universal love.
What connecting to intuition means for you as the individual
With the previous paragraphs in mind, we can now look at what it would actually mean to nourish wholeness — instead of feeding into shallowness, arbitrary societal ‘rules’ (i.e. drinking and partying on Friday nights because one feels pressured into it; creating a 9–5 work routine, because someone else says so; consuming certain mainstream movies, because they are trending etc.), we can focus on becoming who we are meant to be in the first place.
Ponder: What is absolutely normal, and the foundation for existence on a soul-level, is often regarded as something strange or ‘not viable’ in the human-matter-realm.
One of those foundational elements is of course love.
Without love nothing can exist. It seems that there has been a great cosmic misunderstanding: What society, by the majority, often labels as love is in most cases not really love, but some ego-attachment that stems from a conviction that has been infused through many types of media (TV shows, Hollywood movies, novels, public discussions, online platforms etc.) — often at an early age.
What is needed is a reconnection to true, soulful love — and the first step I believe, is to focus on intuition.
Reconnecting with your intuition allows you to:
- Expand your inner world as well as your outer world
- Enhance your skills by simply discovering your innate capabilities
- Open yourself up for the capacity to traverse fields of interest without feeling the need to attach yourself to a specific field, label etc.
- Improve the relationship with yourself and others
- Appreciate the present moment more & it allows you to imagine an inspiring, life-affirming future
