The Power Of Direction Which In Other Words — Is Concentration:

One of the causes of Success is Focus or total attentiveness — As a consequence of centring thoughts on a single point, the mind remains attached to it. Then even the hardest hurdle cannot weaken the man’s concentration.
The focus is For work what a lever is For lifting weights. The principle of a lever is that Force concentrates at one point, which makes it easy to lift heavy objects. Similarly by concentrating the mental powers on a single point, one can solve complex problems.
The working of our mind and body is like that of raindrops. When collected in one place they make a vast ocean — But if they Fall here and there in a scattered manner, they disappear in the dust without any visible effect.
For acts of worship to be acceptable to Allah and For a person to be rewarded For them, there are two conditions which must be met:
The First condition: The act of worship should be devoted to Allah Alone. Allah says:“And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining From ascribing partners to Him).” (Al-Bayyinah 98:5)
The Second condition: The action should be in accordance with the only way which Allah has prescribed For worship, which is by Following the Prophet (saw) in the laws that he has brought.
It was narrated that the Prophet (saw) said:“Whoever does any action that is not in accordance with this matter of ours (i.e., Islam), will have it rejected.” (Narrated by Muslim, al-Aqdiyyah, 3243).
Achieving True sincerity towards Allah(swt). If a person focuses his mind and heart on Allah(swt) and the Hereafter — and loses interest in worldly matters, he will attain humble Focus in his actions.
Quran Recitation Improves Focus And Cognitive Function:
In addition to its spiritual benefits, Quran recitation is also believed to improve Focus and concentration. This is because reciting the Quran requires a high level of attention and Focus. By reciting the Quran, Muslims are required to concentrate fully on the words they are saying, which can help improve their Focus and attention span.
Quran Recitation As A Form Of Mindfulness Practice:
One study conducted on the effects of Quran recitation on the brain Found that reciting the Quran activates certain areas of the brain responsible For memory and cognitive Function. The study concluded that Quran recitation can improve cognitive function and help with memory retention.
Additionally, reciting the Quran has been shown to have a positive effect on the brain’s neural networks, improving overall brain function and cognitive abilities.
Quran Recitation Provides Motivation And Inspiration:
Furthermore, reciting the Quran is a Form of mindfulness practice, which has been shown to improve Focus and Concentration. Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment and being aware of one’s thoughts and Feelings.
By reciting the Quran, Muslims are required to be fully present in the moment and Focus their attention on the words they are saying. This can help improve their ability to concentrate and stay focused on tasks.
On the authority of Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (saw) took hold of my shoulder and said, "Be in the world as if you were a stranger or a traveler along a path."
And Ibn Umar would say, "If you survive till the late afternoon, do not expect [to be alive in] the morning. If you survive till the morning, do not expect [to be alive in] the late afternoon. Take From your health For your sickness and From your life For your death."
Removing the life of this world From our hearts is not always an easy thing to do; For some of us, it requires a lifelong daily struggle. The world has changed over the last fifteen centuries, however, the state of humankind has not. In the past, a wise Believer encouraged the people around him to remove their love For this world From their hearts. This advice is still relevant today.
So, the point is that — when our Thinking becomes that every action is to be done For the sake of our Creator, then we will be Concentrated and Focused on the Truth because we believe that Allah(swt) will reward us For our every action. In this way, we will also avoid showing off our Good deeds.
May Allah(swt) give us an understanding of our Religion so that we act according to His Laws and For His pleasure.(Ameen).
JazakAllah (May Allah Reward You [with] Goodness)For Reading.
