Where your eyes are lifted up

No wonder legislators in my state, Iowa, want to ban books in public libraries. (source)

Reduce the independence of their Boards and Directors.

Starve them to death.

How do you control a person?

Keep her on the farm?

Stop him from asking questions.

God can do this work.

If He’s the right God.

Parents try.

Mine did.

But all children must grow up.

Away.

Too many never do.

Grow up.

Away.

He still worships his 12-year-old God.

In the same pew.

She doesn’t even know what she’s missed.

Until it’s too late.

Libraries could have helped.

Books.

Art.

Open windows.

Fresh air.

Freedom to choose.
