The Power of a Prayer
A request letter to God from a hopeful sad soul.
Dear God, today I come to thee with folded hands and bent knee, to request you to hear my plea and relieve me of my misery.
Dear God, I am now all shattered, my feelings have been battered, a once beating heart is tattered, my life- on the whole, is scattered.
Dear God, today I come to thee with folded hands and bent knee, to request you to hear my plea and relieve me of my misery.
Dear God, please tell me will you tell me how to end my life so blue, since now I have nothing at all to do, and for that matter to look forward to.
Dear God, so will you today please listen to me . . . as I stand with folded hands and bent knee, to finally request you to please hear my plea, for going from hell to heaven, to end my misery?
Dear God, today I have come to thee with folded hands and bent knee, to thank you for hearing my plea and relieving me from my misery.
A couple of days ago, while reading a magazine, flipping through pages I read an article about this depressed young girl, who had decided that no one else could help her, other than God. She daily started saying the same prayer for a couple of days each day, and multiple times swearing that she won’t stop till God listens. And guess what — her efforts didn’t go futile, rather her pleas came to an end when God heard them and fulfilled her wishes. So never lose hope, have faith because faith can move mountains. Live life with faith and patience and see yourself climb the highest mountain with ease.
Thank you for stopping by to read. Here is another favourite of mine to read. Hope you enjoy it. 😇
