The Power of Poetry

the poems belong to those who read them

the books belong to those who read them

I libri sono di chi li legge

The books belong to those who read them the circle is not broken, just bent, to make a new shape to make a new place for friends, and love to lift the heavy-hearted when we’re down. I am grateful for that. i am grateful you are here. I will put poems out in the world until nothing is hurting me worse than this world already does.

Sharing Nostalgia With Your Friends

I miss the days when we could close our eyes and inky the pain, Then change the world to suit us. A time when we could lay down across it, Chatting with friends and laughing. Old books and worn blankets and dusty libraries, Alluring and disgusting enough to make the most jaded miss it. Old friends, old friends we’ve left behind. I don’t remember much of the old home, But I remember the shoes and t-shirt that I wore. Old books, old books we’ve left behind. Gravity has not changed in my heart since then. It calls me back to a place I have never been.

The Morning After The Night Before
