Happy Holidays all around!
The Poem That Makes You Feel Alive Again

Dawn of crepuscular light, The intensity of the day’s last breath, With this ardent fervor for life, I’m reminded of how we’re all born.
I’m weighted with a precious life, The power to see this. To make sounds. To think. This incredible capacity to perceive the world makes me feel full of vigor and life, On this longest night of the year, I feel renewed and bursting with energy.
We’re born, and we each die, And we call it death. But what if this is not the end? What if we’re meant to feel these momentous moments with vigor, passion, and purpose? To grow and evolve in light of new ideas and experiences is inherent to our spirit. We are meant for growth. We are meant to love and be loved. There’s a purpose for us here. We just have to look for it. To feel it. To live it. I stand tall tonight with a shining face, I am born. I am a child of the universe. What are the chances that this is the last time? Or that we have at most one chance to experience this incredible world? There is a reason for everything, and there is a reason we’re all here together in this world, experiencing life in these moments. But, to fully grasp these moments, we must be alive.
Every year we get together and celebrate, For this is our moment, To share in love and friendship. But perhaps we should think of it as a celebration of life. This may be our last chance to experience one another, The last chance to hear the sound of our voices. At this moment, we are all alive, or at least the living part of us is still here. We are meant to feel these things, and this is why they’re worth celebrating.
