Music keeps me grounded, It always reminds of where I have been and who I have been in life.

Toni The Talker, Thank you for this music challenge it was actually difficult. However I handled this challenge in 2 ways. One via poem, please see below. The other is an article, it will be a separate post.

Music means so many things to so many people ,for some, it takes them down memory lane to when days were carefree and childhood was glorious.

Others remember singing that song that was a beacon of light during their darkest nights.

While the nostalgia of a song takes a few others on a journey to past lovers, stolen kisses, and passionate nights under the cover of darkness.

Only to have your mind recall the songs that played on those bitter days of not being chosen during the brightness of daylight.

Some Songs can be used to recall special events like family reunions of past days or Auntie’s 60th birthday.

Sometimes we can not articulate the words of our own soul, and there is a song bellowed across the airways that says everything that we could not get out of our mouth.

Sometimes the message is conveyed in the most eloquent of ways other times it comes out rachet and crass.

There are moments of gratitude for all that we have seen, moments power moments we mourn. and moments were we can see clearly.
