The Philosophical Skunk — A Limerick
A Limerick
There was once a philosophical skunk
Who went off to become a monk.
He said he turned ascetic
Coz’ life was too frenetic
And his friends all said that he stunk.
This limerick was inspired by Krystal Mossbarger’s poem, The Black and White Bunny. I loved her poem and the story that followed.
My daughter tells me that she has skunks visiting her backyard sometimes. Crazy as it sounds, I’m hoping they’ll show up when I’m there. I’ve never seen a skunk.
