If we are well prepared, writing can be so easy that it is a joy. But to achieve this state, we must pay attention to a few things.

I started writing fifteen years ago. It took the first seven years to finish my first book.

Today, it takes me only two months from the first idea to publication for a novel. My books have more than three hundred paperback pages.

So over time, I have become much faster.

Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about how to drive a story forward and motivate myself to do the necessary work every day.

I’ve read everything about writing that I could get my hands on, but I’ve learned most of what I’ve learned while writing.

Most of all, I learned that you can make many mistakes that slow down the flow of writing. If you consistently avoid these mistakes, you suddenly work many times faster and even get better results.

I have summarized my experiences in an article for you: The 10 Commandments for a Successful Writing Day.
