Currently, most MMORPG players' top pick for their gaming mouse is generally the Razer Naga or something similar. This is due to the high number of buttons on the side of the mouse, which can be mapped to the number of abilities in most MMORPGs.
Any regular mouse would be a massive disadvantage since players would have to use the numbers on their keyboard to use these abilities. This means they would have to take one of their hands off the controls in order to activate an ability, which tends to be required a lot of the time.
Anyway, the purpose of this article is to introduce Razer's newest MMORPG gaming mouse, the Razer Naga V2 Pro.
Much like the previous Naga mice, the Naga V2 Pro has all the features everyone loves but with a few additional goodies. Here are some of its features.
Swappable Side Plates
The Razer Naga V2 Pro includes three swappable side panels. This allows players to customize their mouse depending on what type of game they’re playing.
Of course, one of the options is the 12-button plate suitable for MMORPGs. Additionally, it features a 6-button plate with some grip below it, as well as a 2-button plate with a larger grip below it.
These additional plates offer additional versatility for games other than MMORPGs, such as shooters.
Customizable Scroll Feel
The scroll wheel of this mouse can be thoroughly customized.
The scroll tension, number of steps, as well as its force curve can be changed to the users' preference.
It can be changed from a very smooth scroll up to a very tactile scroll.
Various Methods Of Connectivity
The Razer Naga V2 Pro features wireless connectivity via a USB dongle, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, and a charging cable.
Interestingly if you own a wireless Razer keyboard, you can connect your Naga and your keyboard to the same USB dongle in order to free up a USB slot on your computer.
Compatibility With Wireless Charging
This mouse is compatible with both of Razer’s wireless mouse chargers. These include the Razer Mouse Dock Pro and the Razer Wireless Charging Puck.
Currently, I use the Razer DeathAdder V2 as my main gaming mouse. This is also the same mouse I use for MMORPGs.
As you can imagine, it can become very difficult to manage all my abilities with just the number row on my keyboard. I was already looking into buying a Naga mouse, but after hearing about the new Naga, it will most likely become my new main.
