The Path to Roses

In the end,
Flowers will bloom from the scars left by the burns,
The searing tears and piercing thorns will leave when the season turns,
Nothing is forever and the pain leaves to return —
And the suburbs of our hearts are left with lessons and paths we must discern.
Flowers will boom from the scars left by the burns —
And we will survive as the seasons take turns,
The light divides the darkness and time will still the storms —
But never forget that the path to roses comes with a crown of thorns.
