The Pages of Your Life
by Bradley Tucker

Each dawn signals a new day Another chance to dream, ruminate and play Every day we are made anew But work and drudgery distort our view We fill our heads with boundless disdain As if we were the makers of our pain and gain Surrender to the currents of the stream And you will find things aren’t always as they seem Close your mind and open your eyes Be one with the process as the time flies Don’t hurry but do not wait Share your life and love before it’s too late Judgement is the harbinger of your stress Each breath is a precious moment of life to bless Often in the darkest times we find our light So do not worry about which path is right The young fret about going the distance But to grow old, you must face resistance Ride the heady waves of change Each time your reality will rearrange A magical journey awaits those that see We are always exactly where we’re meant to be If each day of your life was recorded on a page You will see the beauty beneath that reveals the sage
