The tide is high The wind is high The ocean wild and rearing

Is there a more palpable display of a force of nature than an angry ocean? I can’t think of any.

It’s in full display this morning, and the cool thing is that I know that it is not mad at me. In fact, it isn’t mad at anything or anyone: it just is.

Calm as anything yesterday and a raging lunatic today. It is a brilliant spectacle.

This ocean mine, this Pacific.
