The Only Way Forward Is Together

A poem about equality.

There’s a heart in every person, Who’s as equal as you and I, So let’s treat everyone with kindness, And we shall smile, instead of cry.

Unfortunately, we cannot make progress, Until we unite as one, So whether you lean left or right, Admit there’s work to be done.

The only way forward is together, We can make progress, you and me, So take my hand and say these words, We want equality.
