Nowadays, people look at the zodiac signs for guidance and wisdom in the decision-making process. Some decide whether they will pursue a promotion or have a good day according to what their astrological sign says.

Every 30 days, the Sun visits a new zodiac sign. As a result, everyone feels prevailing energy during this season, regardless of which zodiac sign you were born under.

Sometimes, the zodiac signs seem pretty accurate. It is almost as if you can already see what signs people are before they even open their mouths.

My zodiac sign is Capricorn. Reading my sign is not something I usually do. But when my sign app tells me I will have a difficult time with creativity; I will be discouraged from writing or doing anything new for that matter throughout that day.

If the app says I will be busy that day, I would feel energized to do almost anything.

It may sound ridiculous to change your rhetoric around something because of an app, but it’s something I do whenever I’m feeling cranky or need motivation.

This brings me to my point of discussion: Is it the zodiac sign that predicts what I did or should do, or is my mind making the decisions for me?

Suppose the actions of people are influenced by predictions to which they are exposed. In that case, those who believe in astrology may be more susceptible to self-fulfilling prophecies — which indicates that once they hear an astrological prediction for them, they are more willing to believe it.

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” — Lao Tzu

You are your thoughts

Our feelings about, expectations, and actions surrounding an event will affect how we perceive things and how it happens. The mind is a powerful thing, and we can convince ourselves of anything.

You may or may not have heard of people moving objects around just by focusing on them with their minds.

Some people think it’s just science fiction. But there is proven science behind the ability to use our minds in this powerful way; called Telekinesis.

It is basically the science of moving objects with our minds. Interestingly, we all have this skill that we can use if we choose to invest the time and study to learn how to do it.

Now, if we can really move objects from one spot to another, can we really say is the prediction of the Sun?

I think not. The universe indeed lays opportunities at our feet, but it’s up to us to take those opportunities or leave them.

William Arthur Ward explained it perfectly; “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.”

What you conceive in your mind promotes certain behaviors that produce results. In other words, good thoughts bring good tidings, and bad thoughts bring bad tidings.

Of course, with positive thinking and conviction, only your dreams will not come true.

You also need to put in the hard work too. This means living in alignment with your goals and taking the necessary steps to make them a reality.
