The One Thing You Need to Give Your Kids for Father’s Day
Here’s the Deal With Spending Time With Your Kids.

I have been a father for 13 years and want to share some tips for all the fathers and future fathers out there.
You probably didn’t get a How to be a Father book when you became a father. Don’t worry I didn’t either. I guess we missed that class in school.
Honestly, I didn’t have my dad my entire life growing up. With an ugly divorce between my parents, sometimes that happens.
For me to be a dad, you can say I really had to figure out what dad meant. I had some early years with my dad to mimic his qualities as well as father figures I wanted to emulate.
After my son was born, you hold up this little person, change their diaper, feed them, play with them, and so on.
With a child, you have to share the workload with the child’s mom.
I know there are different relationships, you may be married, not married, or possibly not even together with the baby’s mother.
As a father, you owe TIME to your child.
That’s possibly the most important thing you can give to your child.
TIME

You helped bring your child into this world so you better be ready to dedicate some TIME to your child.
A child only has one father. You are simply irreplaceable.
I could go on and give you other tips or ideas, but I’m not a psychologist to give you the exact plan on what to do and what not to do.
Honestly, you will make mistakes. There is no question about that. Don’t worry, just learn from your mistakes.
When you give your TIME to your child, your child will know you care.
That’s all they really want. They want to see you in their life. It may be a few minutes a day.
This could be throwing the ball around or playing with their stuffed animals. Or it could be playing a video game with them. You may feel silly, but your kids like that.
Sometimes, you need to get down to their level.
You get to be a kid again.
